Product Development Director

The Product Development Director will lead the development and deployment of new products that support the company’s growth.

Telmetrics Inc. is seeking a Product Development Director to lead the development and deployment of new products that support the company’s growth. As a key member of the product development team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new products from ideation through development and deployment and for revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of marketing technology and the challenges of measuring performance of campaigns faced by marketers and possess an ability to develop unique products to increase customer base and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Developing new products and services that contribute to the company’s growth.

Lead the development of assigned product lines including idea generation, product evaluation, business case development and the execution of product launches in collaboration with the cross-functional teams supporting these initiatives.

Contribute to revenue by monitoring and tracking trends in the industry and developing new products and services that meet the evolving needs of our target markets.

Leads cross functional teams and manages communication and training across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of new products

Work closely with the COO and Manager of Development & QA to design and implement platforms that are continually evolving and that will attract and retain clients. Ensuring that all infrastructure complies with information security policies and best practices

Deliver progress reports by evaluating risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to senior management and team members.

Effectively manage resources and remove obstacles to accomplish business goals.

Develop new and innovative ways to monetize Telmetrics products, including attending partner events to promote opportunities to monetize our product offerings.

Identify potential customers in other industries/market sectors and develop a clear model for how to sell Telmetrics products to these customers (e.g. messaging, pricing, marketing, branding)

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline

5-7 years in a senior level product development role including the development of new ideas, product development and all activities that support successful product launches including positioning, marketing, training and communications.

Strong working knowledge of marketing technology products including the Google and Adobe suite of products.

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including Technology, Marketing, Operations and Shared Services.

Effective leader with exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Ability to apply tools, methodologies and practices for the improvement of the product delivery process.

Experience in marketing tech, ad operations or search marketing

Google AdWords certification is a huge plus

Proven experience integrating complex data, measurement and analytics in marketing programs

No relocation authorization.  Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required
